It’s an opportunity for us to get a peek into the lives of amazing women and badass moms. Want to be featured? Let me know.Anna Auerbach is a triple threat: Harvard Business School grad, McKinsey alum and the co-founder and CEO of Werk. Did I mention that she's also mom to an adorable 5-year-old and one of the smartest people I know? She's always up for an adventure, is passionate about women's rights and can out-snark the best of us. Fun fact: We worked at the same museum at the same time but never crossed paths... only to connect 7 years later when our sons befriended each other.Let's meet her, shall we?[/cs_text][x_image type="none" src="https://www.bonnenuitbaby.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/image-1.png" alt="" link="false" href="#" title="" target="" info="none" info_place="top" info_trigger="hover" info_content="" class="aligncenter"][x_custom_headline level="h4" looks_like="h4" accent="false"]After becoming a mom, how did you find your tribe?[/x_custom_headline][cs_text]I had both an easy and a hard time finding a tribe after I became a mom. Asher was born in New York and I was fortunate to have a local moms group, Hudson River Park Mamas. If I’m honest with myself I resisted joining when I was pregnant. All my friends in the neighborhood said that it’s the most incredible community, but I held out because I was afraid of “just being a mom” as a label. I finally joined when I was 7 months pregnant and immediately kicked myself for waiting so long! I met incredible women - two in my buildings - and they were my rocks during my pregnancy and post birth. The challenge was we moved across the country to Las Vegas when our son was 4 months old! There wasn’t a group there like HRP Mamas (trust me, I scoured every corner of the internet), and so hot was hard finding a new tribe there. Eventually I met a few other “expats” and that common experience really united us.[/cs_text][x_custom_headline level="h4" looks_like="h4" accent="false"]What would your memoir be titled?[/x_custom_headline][cs_text]Extremely Fast Talking and Incredibly Overwhelming[/cs_text][x_custom_headline level="h4" looks_like="h4" accent="false"]What's the first thing you do each morning?[/x_custom_headline][cs_text]Look at my phone…ughhhh. [/x_custom_headline][cs_text]Oh my god. Can I have this? No, seriously, can we make this happen? I would sleep late, have a lazy coffee and breakfast in my pajamas. Then I would do something adventurous that I wouldn’t be able to normally do. I love experiences that take me out of my comfort zone. I’d do a flight lesson or go jet skiing on the Hudson. Then I’d have a boozy afternoon meal and take a sunset helicopter flight around Manhattan. And I think I’ve run out of ideas at like 9/10 hours![/cs_text][x_custom_headline level="h4" looks_like="h4" accent="false"]Do you have a parenting philosophy? [/x_custom_headline][cs_text]Survive!
